ALERT:  Crohn’s Disease Or Arthritis Sufferers – Discover The Secret Of Equipping Your Body With The Natural Weapons It Needs To Fight Off Pain Naturally Without Relying On Potentially Harmful Over The Counter Or Prescription Drugs!

In the past, whenever people had a painful condition in their stomach or joints, their natural reaction was to go to the medicine chest for the best advertised over the counter or doctor recommend prescription drug of the day.  Most folks just didn’t know that there were any alternatives to drugs made in the lab, and the potential risks of harmful side effects from taking them.  In fact studies show that even now, half the population doesn’t think natural supplements are worth buying. The Federal Drug Administration doesn’t even think they are important enough to try and regulate.

However, an increasing number of people are delighted with the positive results they are discovering by taking certain types of natural supplements derived from plant compounds found in fruits and vegetables and even certain kinds of tree bark...specifically pine bark or Pycnogenol.  These supplements called OPC’s or (Oligomeric Proanthocyandidins)  belong to a specific family called bioflavanoids…which are powerful antioxidants that encourage your body’s own immune system to respond appropriately to inflammation, allergy and infections.  Antioxidants are compounds that protect the body’s cells and tissues from being damaged by free-radicals, which contribute to aging and illness.  Free radicals are created by environmental pollution, food additives, high-fat diets, excessive alcohol, smoking and second hand smoke, burns, infection, stress, radiation and nutrient deficiencies.  In short…everyone is exposed to free-radicals on a daily basis.  But by giving our own body’s immune system the strength it needs to fight off free radicals and their effects, we can live healthier, longer and more active lives. click here

If you are a Crohn's sufferer and have not yet been tested for allergies to wheat and gluten you should consider it.  Many folks with Crohn's do have this food allergy and are unaware of it.  As result...many of the symtoms they attribute to their Crohn's condition are really the result of having Celiac Disease.   I myself became aware of Celiac a few years ago after my gastroenterologist recommended I get tested for it.  All it took was a simpel blood test to determine if I had this food allergy, and it came out positive.  My doctor immediately suggested I go on a strict gluten free diet, and gave me a menu to follow.  Over the past 3-4 years that I've been off gluten, I have noticed a definite improvement in my Crohn's condition.  My last colonoscopy in 2010 showed almost no evidence of the disease.
Even folks that don't suffer from Crohn's or Celiac have adverse effects to eating too many glutinous grains.  You see, foods high in gluten content (especially the heightened amount used to make breads soft and fluffy) are not what our bodies were designed to digest.  Why?,  because it takes more energy for your body to process the grains so they don't cause damage to the body.  The end result is, you end up functioning at a lowered energy level and with less vitality.  This is hardly a competitive advantage for people living in the kind of active and competitive society we all live it.

Prior to the past 11 months I experienced a lot of intermittent joint pain, mainly in my shoulders, elbows, but mainly in my knees.  I had been taking Glucosomine pills regularly and gotten relief.  However for the bettor part of this year I've switched to another supplement consisting of grape seed extract, pine bark or pycnogenol and red wine extract.  It has done wonders for me!  Not only have my joints been fine...especially my knees,  but I've seen a change in my skin as well!  It seems more smooth, healthier, even more youthful!!  Even my energy level has improved.

I just finished an article on the adverse effects eating wheat and gluton rich foods have on some Crohn's Disease sufferers in EzineArticles.com.  The article deals with a condition specifically called Celiac Disease, a form of food allergy that is effecting a a growing number of people.  It is becoming increasingly apparent that many people around the world do have trouble with digesting wheat and other grains that have high levels of gluten. Some findings indicate that rates of Celiacs disease sufferers have actually risen some 400% in the last fifty years.  Some of that is due to advances in diagnostic technology, and increased awareness, but scientists also consider increased wheat and gluten consumption to be a major cause.  A few years ago I was advised by my gastroenterologist to take a blood test for Celiac, and it came out positive.  Since then, by removing wheat and gluten from my diet I have noticed a real improvement in my Crohn's disease condition.
